What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies and similar technologies allow a website or browser to store small pieces of information on a user's device. Local storage is a browser mechanism that can remember device-local preferences without sending a cookie with every request.
What TRAILAB currently uses
The current website does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, profiling cookies or third-party marketing cookies.
The website stores one local preference, trailab.locale, to remember the language selected by the user. This is used only to improve navigation and language continuity.
Cookie and storage table
trailab.locale: local browser storage set by this website; purpose: language preference; category: technical/personalisation; duration: until the user clears browser storage or changes preference; third-party access: none intentionally configured by TRAILAB.
How to control or delete local data
You can delete local storage and cookies from your browser settings. Disabling local storage may prevent the website from remembering your language preference, but the website should remain usable.
Browser vendors provide their own instructions for deleting cookies and site data in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and other browsers.
Future changes
If TRAILAB later adds analytics, embedded third-party services or non-essential cookies, this policy and the consent mechanism must be updated before those technologies are used.
